Dr Ann Thorne graduated in medicine from Bristol University in the United Kingdom in 1988. She spent the next 5 years gaining experience in a wide range of medical disciplines including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, obtaining the Diploma of The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists in 1993.
Since 1994 Ann has worked as a general practitioner in the Geelong region, whilst raising three children. Ann obtained her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GP's in 2005.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has also completed an additional course on skin cancer management and is credentialed to insert Implanon and Mirena.
In her spare time Ann enjoys gardening, hiking and snow skiing.
